MidAtlantic Bulldog Rescue is a NJ Non-Profit 501(c)3
organization, Tax ID # 26-1267736

The first step to adopting a bulldog is to complete our on-line adoption application. Your completed application will stay on file with us for six months.

The waiting time to adopt a rescue bulldog can take anywhere from 2 weeks to 6 months to find the right bulldog for you and your family. We do not place bulldogs on a first come, first serve basis, but rather based on the bulldog’s individual needs.

A MidAtlantic Bulldog Rescue representative will come to your home to visit with you and your family to discuss the bulldog you are inquiring about and perform a home inspection to be sure the bulldog will be living in a safe, secure environment. During the time of the home visit, feel free to ask us any questions you may have, as all of our rescue representatives are bulldog owners themselves, we will be happy to try to assist you.

A MidAtlantic Bulldog Rescue representative will verify your vet references to be sure that all current and previous pets were well cared for.

When this process is complete, we will introduce you to the bulldog that we feel best suits your family. When the adoption is complete, we will provide you with a bulldog information package which will contain information pertaining to that particular bulldog in an effort to provide you with further assistance to ensure the transition is a smooth one for all involved.

All of the volunteers of MidAtlantic Bulldog Rescue have full time jobs and familes, all are bulldog owners, some being rescue dogs, some owning multiple bulldogs. We answer all phone calls as quickly as possible, but we do respond to all phone calls. We are available to discuss with you the options that are available to you in regards to the needs of you and your bulldog.

In 2004, our Community Relations Director Jenn opened her heart and home to Cicero, who needed a loving forever home. Cicero spent his days resting on a comfortable couch, enjoying his treats and car rides. Cicero crossed to the Rainbow Bridge in December of 2007. He will be forever in our hearts and we all miss him very very much.
