MidAtlantic Bulldog Rescue is a NJ Non-Profit 501(c)3
organization, Tax ID # 26-1267736

We know how very difficult it has been to come to the decision to surrender your bulldog. You have taken the first step in making the transition for your bulldog as easy as possible. We at MidAtlantic Bulldog Rescue are not here to judge you or to make this decision even more difficult for you.

Life changes on a daily basis. A new baby, dogs not getting along with each other, divorce, relocation, allergies or soldiers being deployed happen all of the time. The only bulldogs that we can not accept into our rescue program are those that have seriously bitten or attacked a human.

When calling to surrender your bulldog, please be prepared (if possible) to provide us with the following information:

  • Age and sex of the dog, and if he/she is spayed/neutered
  • Any known behavioral issues (dog aggression, fear, dominance, etc.)
  • The status of vaccinations
  • The timeframe in which you need to surrender the bulldog

A MidAtlantic Bulldog Rescue representative will coordinate arrangements with you to complete the surrender process. Upon meeting with one of our rescue representatives, we will ask you to complete a short questionnaire to assist the foster family in making the transition a smooth process for both the family and the dog. We also ask that you provide any and all veterinarian records, and registration papers at that time.
