MidAtlantic Bulldog Rescue would like to thank The Pedigree Adoption Drive for their generous grant. Their donation has helped our rescue girl Midori through her serious medical issues.
It is with a heavy heart that we tell you all of the passing of Kate's sweet girl Midori, who came to us last summer from a shelter in North Jersey. Tori was found wandering the streets and in pretty bad shape.
Tori was Kate's girl from the moment she laid eyes on her. Meatball, Kate's other adoptee and Tori were best buds and loved each other. Kate spent months pampering, caring for and loving Tori through her cancer. Tori was diagnosed with cancer after her spay and first surgery. She went in for a second more invasive surgery and we thought for sure that the cancer was gone but unfortunately it came back.
Tori's time from the moment she went to Kate was the best that she had probably spent in her entire life. It's because of the commitment and dedication of people like Kate that makes this such a wonderful rescue organization.
Tori is in a better place now, free of pain and enjoying her new life. Thank you Kate for all the love, pampering and compassion you gave to Tori.
